The Role:
Inspect new vehicles in line with company processes and procedures.
Identify and rectify vehicle defects in line with warranty and approvals, ensuring applicable processes are followed at all times.
Identify and report any vehicle damage. #Rectify any minor body or paint defects.
Fit all vehicle legal lettering.
Carry out retrofitting of parts.
Complete paper work and job cards accurately.
Undertake additional tasks when required.
Follow Health and Safety regulations at all times. Your Profile:
Experienced PDI technician or semi-skilled technician looking to learn a new trade.
An understanding of the bus and coach/commercial vehicle industry.
Vehicle structure, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Must hold a UK driving licence.
A PSV licence is desirable.
Proficient in general IT applications.
Ability to work within critical timescales.
Ability to prioritise tasks and apply a flexible approach to achieve objectives. We Offer:
Hourly rate up to £16.85 inclusive of a10% shift allowance (based on a 42 hour week).
A 42 hour working week with a rotating shift pattern between 06:00hrs and 18:30hrs (excluding weekends).
Overtime paid at time plus 50% basic hourly rate on weekdays and time plus 75% basic hourly rate on weekends.
33 days holiday per year including statutory holidays.
