Job Description:
Our client based in Coventry are looking for a Sales Engineer, to drive sales across the UK manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical understanding and a passion for building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities across engineering and manufacturing sectors
- Visit customers, understand technical requirements, and recommend suitable gauge solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical presentations
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
- Attend trade shows, events, and customer demonstrations
- Collaborate with the technical team to support custom gauge projects
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
- Experience in technical sales or engineering sales (precision tools or metrology advantageous)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC machining, or measurement technologies
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings (training can be provided)
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
