Title: Hydraulic Hose Installation Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hose Installation Engineer to join our team in Halstead. In this role, you will be responsible for replacing hoses on customer machinery as part of a long-term project. The position will also include carrying out LOLER inspections and providing general engineering support as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace hydraulic and industrial hoses on a variety of customer machinery.
- Conduct LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspections in line with statutory requirements.
- Carry out general engineering and mechanical tasks to support customer operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and inspections carried out.
- Deliver excellent customer service and act as a professional representative of the company.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hose installation, hydraulics, or mechanical engineering preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Knowledge of LOLER inspection processes (training can be provided if necessary).
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A commitment to safe working practices and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred, as the role may involve travel to customer sites).
