Job Description

The role:

To prepare new vehicles for certification and customer handover. 

Undertake a variety of repairs and maintenance.

To ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with legal and / or company standards. 

To maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times, and report deficiencies.

Your profile: Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician holding a recognised motor industry apprenticeship / qualification is essential.

Experience of working within a busy workshop.

Electro/mechanical knowledge relevant to the bus and coach industry is desirable. 

Proficient in general IT applications, specifically Microsoft Office and a Dealer Management System. We Offer: 

A competitive rate of pay; between £19.19 and £21.93 per hour (inclusive of a 10% shift allowance) dependent upon skills and experience. 

A 42 hour working week with a rotating shift pattern between 06:00hrs and 18:30hrs (excluding weekends).  Overtime paid at time plus 50% basic hourly rate on weekdays and time plus 75% basic hourly rate on weekends. 

33 days holiday per year including statutory holidays.
