As Sales Manager you will report directly to the Sales Director. Under the terms of the contract, you will be expected to carry out at all times, such orders and directions as may be given to you to the best of your skill and ability.
You will endeavour to expand the existing base on which the company operates in relation to current and new products through the following: •
To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas.
• Generate and qualify leads/enquiries. • Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Develop and maintain a customer database.
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Prepare and present sales contracts.
• Prepare sales reports.
• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development. Until further notice you will carry out your duties in accordance with the policies of the company, which will be clearly defined from time to time.
Company Vehicle You will be provided with a company car fully funded by the company. You will also receive a fuel card for fuel and oil, should you wish to make good personal fuel you should advise accounts of private mileage each month and a deduction will be made from salary.
Mobile Phone/ Laptop A mobile phone will be supplied as will a laptop that connects remotely to the Companies access server.
. Working Practices You will be Office based the Company would expect that on average you complete a minimum of 37.5 hours per week on Company business.
. Reporting A weekly call where you will provide a more detailed report of enquiries to back up a live spreadsheet of your short/medium and long term forecast
